The PowerShares QQQ Trust (

) has 186,000 contracts changing hands, 111,000 of which are puts. The CBOE Volatility Index (:VIX) has 176,000 options traded, dominated by 154,000 calls.
The iShares Emerging Markets Fund (
EEM
) has 65,000 options moving as calls outpace puts by more than 2 to 1. And close behind is the iPath S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures Note (
VXX
) at 61,000 contracts, with 33,000 puts.
